Shawnine celebrates her brand expansion as she and family commemorate 3yr anniversary of LaVee Collection Studios Grand opening December 2019. 

Her quaint eclectic elegantly styled Studio Boutique is located in Murrieta CA and Menifee CA only minutes away from the beautiful mountainous views of Temecula Wine Country. Even in the midst of adversity her tenacious driven ethics and business savvy , along with much prayer and creativity has allowed her to not only survive but to maintain a flourishing jewelry business.    

Artist Shawnine Whitehead uses her domestic and international travels to collect and import unique beads and stones with vibrant colors and multifarious textures to create that LaVee Style that fuses elegance with culture and flair.
She draws boundless inspiration from the authentic sights, sounds, and smells of the urban cities and villages she visits,
translating the feel of her joyful yet insightful experiences into each jewelry design, creating an exuberant experience for you to enjoy.

Shawnine comes form a lineage of artisan and began expressing her artistry at a very young age and follows in her grandfather, Joseph Franklin's footsteps as an international, natural jewelry artist and designer. 

Her brilliant and masterful original designs gained attention in her community and earned her work top recognition in a local publication of Inspire Magazine. Founded in 2000, the LaVee Collection brand is sold in several specialty retail boutique stores in southern California, including LaVee Collection online boutique. 

Shawnine also coordinates Pop-Up Jewelry workshops and trunk shows at various locations including social media tutorials and private events. Is very generous and believes in supporting the Arts and making a positive impact in her community and beyond. 

Through her love and wealth of knowledge of the arts, facilitated children’s community art workshops at Murrieta YMCA and K-12 Jr. High as well as local Elementary schools, bring a fresh fun environment, encouraging young students to explore and develop their individual gifts and talents. Gifted with the ability to creatively influence communities of young creatives. A natural at producing marvelous displays of jewelry art through her students. Shawnine also led evening & weekend beginner/intermediate workshops for adult art and crafts communities in Temecula.

A decorated veteran of the Unites States Armed Forces and native Californian, abundantly enjoys, breakfast in bed, cooking her favorite dishes, hanging out at the beach, frequenting the local Temecula wineries, Trader Joes cheese popcorn, binging Netflix and spending time with family.
